SHOT Show 2018: Mauser M18 Rifle

Typically known for its premium-grade hunting rifles, Mauser is taking a run at the entry-level bolt-action market with the introduction of its M18. Retailing for only $699, the new model is available in short (.243 Win., 6.5 mm Creedmoor, .308 Win.), long (.270 Win., .30-’06 Sprg.) and magnum (7 mm Rem. Mag, .300 Win. Mag.) actions, all featuring synthetic stocks, cold hammer-forged barrels and adjustable triggers. The rifles feed from a five-round-capacity detachable box magazine, utilize a three-position safety, include a storage compartment that can be quickly accessed by removing the recoil pad and come with a one m.o.a. accuracy guarantee.
