Browning is classifying its new X-Bolt Pro a “semi-custom” rifle due to its specialized finishing touches. Features that one would normally find on a higher-end rifle but are standard on the X-Bolt Pro include a true carbon-fiber stock filled with noise-dampening foam, a Cerakote finish on the action, barrel as well as the exterior of the stock, and a proprietary lapping process that greatly reduces the lengthy break-in process for the barrel. See what else makes this rifle a cut above as American Rifleman's Brian Sheetz fires it at the 2018 Industry Day at the Range. For more, visit browning.com
