Following on the success of the company’s AR-15 Mag Charger, Caldwell Shooting Supplies has introduced the AK Mag Charger for use with 7.62x39 mm-chambered Kalashnikov-pattern magazines. Operating identically to its AR-15 predecessor (Sept. 2014, p. 34), the AK Mag Charger speed loader allows 50 rounds of ammunition to be loaded into magazines in only seconds. Designed to work with most 50-round ammunition boxes, simply align the bullet tips with the holes in the top of the device and dump them in. Then, insert an AK magazine into the Mag Charger and manipulate the plunger back and forth, each stroke will automatically advance the spring-loaded carrier and load five more rounds into the magazine. Made of a durable polycarbonate, the Caldwell Shooting Supplies AK Mag Charger is compatible with both steel and polymer AK magazines. Price: $100.
