ZeroTech H.A.L.O.

Unlike most other micro red-dot designs, which feature lens that are principally spherical in shape, the ZeroTech H.A.L.O (for Heavy-duty Aspherical Lens Optic), instead makes use of a viewing pane with a pronounced ovular shape—lending it a larger-than-normal lateral field of view and providing improved situational awareness.

Assembled within a high-strength 7075 aluminum housing to help it shrug off abuse and inhospitable environmental conditions, the enclosed-emitter H.A.L.O is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof.

Built around the Shield optic-mounting footprint for use aboard a handgun, it also ships with a Picatinny mount for low-profile long gun applications.

The unit’s 3-m.o.a. reticle has a total of 10 brightness settings (two are night-vision-compatible), and auto-sleep and shake-awake functions help extend its battery life to 50,000 hours on a medium setting.

MSRP is $399. For more information, visit zerotechoptics.com.
