The all-American-made Woodman’s Pal is marketed as “the world’s finest land-clearing tool” and legitimized by its service with U.S. troops since World War II under military specification LC-14-B.

Designed to “chop, cut, trim, prune, split, blaze, clear and build,” the latest model measures just under 18" and weighs 1 lb., 6 ozs., exhibiting ideal balance engineered to promote an efficient swing that can sever 1½" saplings in a single blow.

Brass Allen-head fasteners secure the one-piece, dark-stained hardwood handle, and the 1/8"-thick, high-carbon steel blade is powder-coated black to resist corrosion. It is precisely sharpened along 8" of the front edge and for 2.5" of its sickle hook.

The tool comes with a leather sheath, authentic copies of the original 1941 owner’s manuals, a 9½"-long, 280-grit Lansky sharpening stone and a lifetime warranty.

The suggested retail price on the Woodman's Pal is $175. Contact: For more information on this useful outdoor tool, visit
