SnapSafe GlideVault

Introduced last year, the GlideVault from SnapSafe is a security safe with a spring-assisted opening mechanism that is small enough for use under a bed, in a closet or on a countertop, but large enough to accommodate jewelry, important documents and most handguns.

The front face of the GlideVault is a tempered-glass touchpad into which the user-programmable combination (four to six digits) is entered, while the unit’s exterior housing is composed of 16-ga. steel, and the lack of an exposed hinge on the drawer makes it much more difficult for unauthorized individuals to quickly gain access to the safe’s interior.

Powered by four AAA batteries, the GlideVault also features a micro-USB port as an emergency back-up. MSRP is $292. For more information, please visit snapsafe.com.
