As the legacy of Winchester’s Super X4 series of gas-piston-operated shotguns has grown, it was only a matter of time before the company scaled down and chambered the 12-ga. platform for 20-ga. shotshells. Released at SHOT Show 2019, the SX4 20-ga. shotgun provides options for three barrel lengths, 24”, 26” and 28”, all of which provide a 1/4" vent rib and fiber-optic sight bead near the muzzle. SX4 barrels additionally feature a back-bore treatment for improved pattern consistency. Invector-plus chokes come standard, as well as an Inflex 1 recoil pad to mitigate felt recoil.
