Walther P99 As Final Edition Handgun F

When the Walther Arms P99 was first introduced in 1997, the design was one of the most cutting-edge options on the market, and it was loaded with features. The handgun included a cocked striker indicator, loaded chamber indicator, decocking button, interchangeable backstraps, ambidextrous magazine release, tool-free takedown and four internal safeties, making it one of the most feature-rich designs to emerge in the '90s.

Now, in 2023, Walther is saying farewell to this classic design, which not only saw use in various law-enforcement agencies and military units, but also on the screen in the hands of James Bond. The Walther P99 AS "Final Edition" will give fans of this unique handgun one last chance to claim their own.

The Walther Arms P99 AS "Final Edition" is chambered in 9 mm Luger and is built with an olive-drab polymer frame and will feature "Final Edition" engraved onto the slide. As a special limited-edition commemorative design, the pistol will ship inside a durable, weatherproof hard case, along with a challenge coin made for the occasion.

This pistol is outfitted with a 4" barrel and, of course, a double-action/single-action operating system. The gun measures 7.1" long, 5.3" high and 1.3" wide and, unloaded, weighs in at 24 ozs. Magazine capacity is 15 rounds, and two magazines ship with each pistol. Details on suggested retail pricing are not yet available. For more information, visit waltherarms.com.
