Stoeger STR 9C Optic Ready

For 2022, Stoeger Industries has introduced a new addition to its compact STR-9C semi-automatic handgun line, the Stoeger STR-9C Optic Ready. As the name suggests, the new STR-9C Optic Ready is largely similar to the standard STR-9C, with the exception of a mounting point for a micro red-dot optic pre machined into the slide.

It comes from the factory with four different mounting plates, which accept the most common patterns of micro optics on the market today. The slide is also machined with aggressive serrations on the sides at the front and rear, and is topped off with a Nitride treatment for corrosion resistance. Other features of the slide include a 3.8" barrel, a tactile loaded chamber indicator as well as a set of snag resistant three-dot Orion sights dovetailed in.

On the polymer frame, the grip has a medium sized backstrap to fit most hand sizes, and features a Glock-style bilateral takedown lever, as well as an integrated 3-slot Picatinny rail segment on the dust cover. The STR-9 C Optic Ready comes with either 13- or 10-round magazines. It has an overall length of 6.9" and an unloaded weight of 24 ozs.

The Stoeger STR-9C Optic Ready is also fairly budget friendly, with a suggested retail price of $399. For more information on the Stoeger STR-9C Optic Ready handgun, as well as Stoeger's other products, visit stoegerindustries.com.
