Browning Arms of Morgan, UT, continues to expand its Buck Mark series of semi-automatic rimfire pistol in 2021. With several line extensions announced, the Contour Gray URX 5.5” one such model that is built for the precision shooter in mind. Browning has included enhancements throughout, from URX-series grips to Weaver-style optic rail and specialized sights that bolster the gun’s performance

The Browning Buck Mark Contour Gray URX 5.5” is a feature-rich repeater destined for the target range. Browning builds this latest Buck Mark series pistol with an anodized-aluminum frame. The finish is rendered gray, giving the gun it's name. Additionally, a heavy barrel is furnished that is specially contoured with polished flats on its side. With a 5.5” barrel topped with rail for optics, the sight radius stretches to 8”, and Browning provides its Pro-Target rear sight that allows for 16 click adjustments. Pairing the rear with a Patridge-style front, users will experience a fine sight picture.

A pistol rug is included with the gun’s purchase, which is a nice addition. Among the niceties Browning includes are its comfortable Ultragrip RX (URX) grips. The textured grips feature finger contours along the frame’s frontstrap with mild texturing to better operator’s purchase. The gun’s 36-oz. weight and .22 Long Rifle chambering makes for an enjoyable plinker. All told, MSRP comes to $599, which also includes a 10-round magazine.
