Leupold has announced the release of its SX-5 Santiam HD Spotting Scope. Designed for both hunters and shooters, the Santiam HD is available in both straight and angled models, with a 27-55x80mm reticle.

The scope is outfitted with a generous eyepiece for better clarity, and a fully multicoated lens to combat color aberration. For protection, the lenses wear DiamondCoat 2 and Guard-Ion scratch resistance and water shedding, while Leupold's Twilight Max HD light management system helps optical performance in low-light conditions. In the way of adjustment, the Santiam HD sports an ultra-fine center focus wheel, an adjustable eyecup, and an indexed rotational tripod ring.

Both the straight and angled models of the spotting scope are available in a Shadow Gray finish.
