Magpul SL M

Over the past decade, Magpul has established itself as one of the best known and respected MSR furniture and accessories manufacturers on the market. Now for 2022, Magpul introduces the latest edition to its more recent and popular SL stock line, with the new MOE SL-M Carbine Stock. Like the rest of the Magpul MOE SL stock line, the SL-M is a drop in replacement telescoping stock for the AR-15 platform and is compatible with Mil-Spec buffer tubes.

Developed specifically with ultra-compact personal defense weapons in mind, the SL-M is similar in size to the pre-existing compact SL-K stock. However, the SL-M is also noticeably slimmer and shorter in profile than the SL-K. Its shorter overall length and smaller size makes the SL-M optimal for PDW-length and folding receiver extensions. Its reduced size is also meant to increase mobility and to support shoulder transitions, even while the user might be wearing body armor or other bulky gear.

The SL-M is made of the same impact-resistant polymer that Magpul is known for and includes a textured rubberized butt pad for increased comfort and retention. To adjust the SL-M, the user must simply press two small bilateral release latches on the inside faces of the stock, shield from accidental activation. This system also prevents the SL-M from rattling on the buffer tube excessively without the need for an additional lock, as was the case with older Magpul stocks. Included on the foot of the butt is a 1.25" footman's loop, which works either as a sling channel or as a M-LOK attachment point for a push-button, quick-detach sling swivel adaptor.

Suggested retail pricing on the new stock is $44.95. For more information on the new Magpul MOE SL-M Carbine Stock as well as Magpul's other lines of AR-15 compatible stocks, visit magpul.com
