Sensight
, an Israeli company, has created quite a buzz with its SSR400 Digital Riflescope. We’ve seen such devices before, but not this small. Sensight has something the others did not—affordability (with an expected MSRP of $1,299). This is a compact digital sight that looks a bit like an EOTech with an iPhone at its rear. The image on the screen is generated by one of two cameras on the front—one for day and one for night use—and it is remarkably crisp and clear. The user can program in the load he is using, and the device will make ballistic calculations, which were on target during our brief testing. Speaking of which, this was one of the easiest sights we have ever zeroed. Not only can you program in things like your preferred reticle, but it can also communicate via Bluetooth with other devices, allowing a second user connected through the app to watch what is happening on the screen. It can also record. We just hope one arrives before turkey season, and it is ideal for AR platforms. sensight.co.il
