Kahr Arms, owners of Magnum Research Inc., is contracting a limited number of classic Israel Weapon Industries (IWI)-manufactured Desert Eagle pistols in .44 Mag. and 50 AE. A pre-reorganized IWI, under the name Israel Military Industries (IMI), was the original manufacturer of the now-iconic pistol, but has not manufactured the pistols since 2009.

This limited-time run of IWI-manufactured pistols will feature the original two-piece barrel design and claw-type safety, as well as the IWI hard plastic grip and the Mark XIX picatinny rail on top of the barrel. In addition to the original features, the Desert Eagle has a 6-inch barrel, 4-lb trigger and all parts produced between the Mark XIX .44 Mag. and .50 AE pistols will be interchangeable, including the barrels.

For additional information on the IWI-produced pistols, please visit the Magnum Research website.
