Sharing the same aesthetic cues, all seven products bear distinctive, patent-pending, hexagonal patterning along their exterior surfaces. This texturing not only assists with purchase on the can for easier attachment/removal of the suppressor, but also helps promote heat dispersion. Due to a partnership with SilencerCo, all quick-detach-capable Blackhawk suppressors will utilize SilencerCo’s readily-available QD mounts
Here’s a quick look at the seven members of Blackhawk’s new suppressor family:
Pulse—Blackhawk’s smallest offering is rated for use with all rimfire ammunition and .22 Hornet, and is full-auto rated for use with .22 Long Rifle. The Pulse connects to its host via a 1/2x28 direct thread pitch. MSRP: $390.
Smoke Stack—A .45-cal. suppressor, the Smoke Stack is rated for up to .45 ACP, including sub-sonic .300 Blackout loads. A direct thread can, multiple pistons will be available from Blackhawk for use with the Smoke Stack on tilt-barrel designs, however, one will not be included with the suppressor. MSRP: $850.
Mini Boss—The short and squat Mini Boss was designed specifically for use with 9 mm Luger and .300 Blackout-chambered firearms in mind (including super-sonic .300 Blackout loads). MSRP: $800.
Barrage—Intended primarily for use with 5.56 NATO-chambered semi-automatic rifles, the Barrage is a .22-cal suppressor that utilizes a quick-detach mount. At only 12.5 ozs., it is one of the lightest cans in its class on the market. MSRP: $700.
Gas Can—The Gas Can is Blackhawk’s .30-cal. suppressor intended for use with semi-automatic hosts. Rated for up to .300 Win. Mag., the Gas Can will be available in both quick-detach and direct-thread variants. MSRP: $1,050.
Carnivore—A .30-cal. can designed specifically for use in low-rate-of-fire bolt-guns, the Carnivore comes in at a very attractive price point. Longer and narrower than the Gas Can, it is also rated for use with rifles up to .300 Win. Mag. MSRP: $680.
Wraith—The .33-cal. Wraith can handle any center-fire rifle cartridge up to and including the formidable .338 Lapua Mag. This behemoth will be offered in both QD and direct-thread configurations. MSRP: $1,400.
With so many products released, Blackhawk’s line offers at least one—and potentially multiple—option for most any suppressor application. All Blackhawk suppressors come with a limited lifetime warranty. The company expects its new family of suppressors to be available to the public by the late summer.
