Trijicon expanded its lineup of handgun sights in 2021 with its DI Night Sights, which incorporate the first user-replaceable fiber-optic pipes in the industry. The fiber-optic design is paired with a tritium lamp, which is sleeved in aluminum and capped with sapphire to produce a brilliant aiming point that can be seen easily in low light.

“We are excited to be able to solve the long-standing user need of a replaceable fiber in a sight that provides an aiming point in any light,” said Chuck Wahr, Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Trijicon. “It is a credit to our engineering team who consistently turns out brilliant aiming solutions.”

Replacement of the fiber-optic front pipe is easy. A threaded steel retainer on the front sight locks the pipe into place, which can be unscrewed to remove a damaged pipe or install a new one. Each front-sight post is equipped with a 0.78" green fiber, and two additional green fibers are included with each sight.

In addition to the ease of replacement, the ability to swap out fiber optics in the front sight means that you can try different colors to find the one that works best with your shooting style. Trijicon offers 16 different combinations of fiber and retainer colors, with fiber optics available in green, red, amber and orange. The retainers can be had in black, white, orange and yellow.

At the rear, the Trijicon DI Night Sights are equipped with tritium inserts that give you the ability to align your sights on target with a three-dot arrangement visible in darkness. The rear sight is also designed to provide a flat ledge for single-handed racking in an emergency.

Models are available to fit popular handgun models from Glock, SIG Sauer, Smith & Wesson and Springfield Armory. Suggested retail pricing on a pair of DI Night Sights is $150. For more information, visit trijicon.com.
