Inspired from the model P228 handgun, SIG Sauer’s M11-series of double-action semi-automatic pistols aptly served military personnel following an era of M1911 contract. Later, SIG Sauer introduced its American-made M11-A1 Compact, blending features of established designs to offer a service-style traditional double-action pistol catering to service professionals and civilians alike. The M11-A1’s compact package provides capacity for 15 rounds of 9 mm Luger and features a Nitron-treated stainless steel slide topped with Tritium-core SIGLITE sights.
