The modular design of SIG’s P320 semi-automatic pistol is paying dividends as the gunmaker continues to expand its catalog of purposefully designed configurations. One model that is starting to appear in gun shops is the X-Carry in 9 mm Luger, which combines the full-size X-Series grip frame (read 17-round magazines) with a Compact or Carry slide assembly (read 3.9” barrel). It’s not just the dimensions that are intriguing, the X-Carry also features an upgraded sight arrangement, including a removable rear-sight plate that can be swapped out for SIG’s Romeo1 red dot. American Rifleman's Joe Kurtenbach takes a quick look at the SIG Sauer P320 X-Carry, his next 2,000-round extended review selection.
