The man and a woman were in bed and were awakened early one Sunday morning after the armed thug gained entry to the house. A physical confrontation ensued, and the male resident retrieved his handgun and fired three times, killing the attacker. (The Columbus Dispatch, Columbus, OH, 11/27/17)

The wounded intruder was checked into a hospital with charges pending. (Akron Beacon Journal, Akron, OH, 12/29/17)
