Two years after Rock Island Armory introduced its "Baby Rock" XT .22 Magnum 1911 pistol, the company has leap-frogged to the other end of the spectrum with the 10 mm Rock Ultra—or "Big Rock," another in the Series 70 series of all-steel frame pistols. American Rifleman's Joe Kurtenbach stopped by the RIA booth at Industry Day at the Range during SHOT Show 2018 to get a better feel for the pistol is chambered in what is fast become one of todays most popular rounds.
