With a goal of raising $70,000 for the Navy Seal Foundation, Ruger is producing the Naval Special Warfare Edition Ruger 9 mm 1911 Commander, to be distributed by TALO. The pistol features a high-polished stainless slide with special chevron serrations, with “NSW” inscribed on the right side. The Ruger logo and the logo of the Navy Seal Foundation are on the rear panels. The firearm has special factory serial numbers: NSW001 - NSW500, with numbers NSW001 - NSW010 hand-engraved and reserved for sale first to NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits attendees. 

The grips are a unique brushed aluminum material reflecting the chevron pattern and the Ruger logo. A specially marked CRKT Pilar folding knife with gold Ruger logo and Navy Seal Foundation emblem is included.
