The non-profit foundation Team 5 is comprised of special operations forces medical veterans and is dedicated to providing modern medical care to some of the world’s harshest and most inaccessible locations. Additionally, Team 5 provides stateside disaster response with its volunteer base of hand-selected medical and survival experts. Company founder Eric Linder said, “In order to be involved, you must first show up.” This sentiment extends beyond the foundation’s local assistance and into the global community where help is needed. Previous relief expeditions include the Amazon jungle, Guatemalan rainforest and the Grenadines. Visit team-5.org to donate or file a volunteer application.
