Otis Technology has announced the launch of three special edition Thin Blue Line Ripcord Cleaning Kits during National Police Week, starting May 14, 2017. A portion of the proceeds from the kits will support the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF).

Each kit features two exclusive blue and gray Ripcords, two caliber-specific brushes, two slotted tips and 2" and 3" patches, all in a convenient carry case. Featuring a special edition Otis logo and incorporating a thin blue line, they are available in the following calibers: 5.56 mm/9 mm, 5.56 mm/.40 cal. and 5.56 mm/.45 cal.

"We salute the brave members of our law enforcement community," said Greg Essenlohr, military/LE sales manager for Otis Technology. "As a small token of our appreciation, we developed these special edition cleaning kits, and what better time to kick it off than during National Police Week—a special time devoted to recognizing those in blue who have lost their lives to protect ours."

NLEOMF is dedicated to telling the story of American Law Enforcement and making it safer for those who serve. The organization also built and maintains the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, which is the nation's monument to law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Additionally, NLEOMF is a principal organizer of National Police Week. Five percent of sales on the special edition Thin Blue Line Ripcord Cleaning Kits will be donated to the memorial fund.
