IWI brought the Galil family of guns back to the U.S. civilian market in 2015 after a two-decade hiatus, and this year a big brother joins the product lineup. The Galil ACE GAR1651 retains all the features of the rest of the line’s rifles, just chambered in the much harder-hitting 7.62x51 mm NATO cartridge: a milled steel receiver; a left-side, reciprocating charging handle; a top-mounted Picatinny rail and tri-rail fore-end; and a side-folding and telescoping buttstock with a removable comb riser. At 36" long with a cold-hammer-forged and chrome-lined 16" barrel, the GAR1651 weighs 8 lbs., 11 ozs. while empty and comes with adjustable tritium sights. iwi.us
