Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing is well known for making fine double shotguns, including exquisite side-by-sides and over-unders. The same company that makes Parkers and Model 21s today also makes a different kind of double gun. How does a side-by-side pump-action bullpup 12 gauge with two independent actions sound? It sounds a lot like the DP-12 made in New Britain, Conn., under the Standard Mfg. name. After talking in the showroom full of $100,000-plus side-by-sides, Mark Keefe went to the test tunnel with the DP-12. While this segment didn’t make our show on Connecticut Shotgun Mfg., you need to check out this very different double gun.
