Best known as a manufacturer of bullpup rifles, Desert Tech is making it easier for shooters of all sorts of firearms to find local public ranges. Utilizing the company’s Rangefinder Tool is as effortless as using Google Maps; in fact, Google powers the provided mapping software. Simply insert your location into the search bar, and the program will populate a list of shooting ranges in ascending order with the nearest shown first. Desert Tech includes tags for each range listed with specific details such as address, phone number and maximum target distance, and for those ranges with websites, a hyperlink opens in a separate window. Access is free. Visit deserttech.com to download the tool.
