Heckler & Koch's most well-known gun of all time is likely the MP5 submachine gun, and there was a semi-automatic-only pistol version brought in years ago as the SP89. If you are a fan of the MP5, you will be happy to know the revised and updated semi-automatic SP5K is now available in numbers from H&K USA. American Rifleman's Mark Keefe had the chance to put some rounds downrange with SP5K. It has a familiar stamped steel upper receiver and polymer lower, and, of course, the forward-mounted charging handle that is an H&K hallmark. Likely too big for a carry gun, it is simply really fun too shoot.
