Lightweight and slim, yet rigid enough to stand up to rough use, the Midwest Industries G3M is a feature-packed AR-15-style handguard that won’t break the bank. A one-piece, free-floating design, the G3M is topped by a full-length MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail for the installation of sights and optics. The handguard’s remaining seven flat surfaces all feature M-LOK-compatible rail-attachment slots (the company’s G3K line instead uses KeyMod), and the unit ships with one polymer, five-slot M-LOK rail section. Available in five lengths—ranging from a 7¼" model weighing 6.7 ozs., to a 15" model weighing 10.8 ozs.—the G3M’s outside diameter measures a trim 1.5". Constructed of hard-coat anodized 6061 aluminum, the American-made Midwest Industries G3M includes five anti-rotation QD sling swivel sockets, two near the receiver and three out by the muzzle, and comes with a lifetime warranty. Offered in black and flat dark earth. Price: $140-$190 (varies by length). Contact: Midwest Industries, Inc., (262) 896-6780; midwestindustriesinc.com.
