For the sixth time, the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) has named Hornady Manufacturing the 2016 Ammunition Manufacturer of the Year. The honor was presented in October during the NASGW Annual Meeting and Expo in Kansas City, Mo.

"Our team of talented engineers, safety professionals, marketing people and folks on the factory floor make this award possible,” said Sales Director Renae Waltemath. “We strive every year to produce high quality products, and we are honored to be recognized."

Each year at this event, NASGW Awards the top accessory, ammunition, and firearms manufacturers who best demonstrate a commitment to two-step distribution and who provide outstanding value and service. Wholesaler members evaluate the performance of this manufacturer on key criteria that includes distribution policy, marketing, sales, and promotion, logistics and operations, and NASGW and industry support.

Founded in 1949, Hornady Manufacturing Company is a family owned business headquartered in Grand Island, Ne. For more information, visit Hornady.com
