Ruger's Model 10/22 turned 50 last year, and Senior Executive Editor Brian Sheetz wrote an insightful story on Bill Ruger's landmark design, which you really should read. Remember the ingenious barrel-nut system of the 10/22 Take-Down? It has now been applied to a laminated wood-stock Charger pistol, one that takes Ruger's well-designed AR-style polymer pistol grip—or scan be changed out for your favorite AR pistol grip.
