Sheetz took the the NRA Technical Test Range (why wait in line at Media Day?) with the new Ruger 10/22 Charger Take-Down, and while he loves most things Ruger, this new handgun was a real standout. Remember the ingenious barrel-nut system of the 10/22 Take-Down? It has now been applied to a laminated wood-stock Charger pistol, one that takes Ruger's well-designed AR-style polymer pistol grip—or scan be changed out for your favorite AR pistol grip.
