Leupold has expanded its VX-6 line by introducing the 4-24x52 mm side focus riflescope three reticle options.

In its VX-6 line, Leupold uses a 6:1 zoom ratio to provide shooters the versatility of 4X to 24X magnification in one riflescope. At its lowest setting, this scope provides a 28-foot field of view at 100 yards, while the highest power setting pulls distant targets in for more precise shot placement.

“With the 6:1 zoom ratio of the VX-6 erector assembly, we’re able to deliver far more range and utility than ever before,” said Pat Mundy, communications manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “There is simply no distance from 100 to over 1,000 yards that the VX-6 4-24 can’t handle.”

Two illuminated reticle options are available: the Boone and Crockett Big Game reticle and the Varmint Hunter. Both feature Finger Adjustable, pop-up resettable 1/4 m.o.a. adjustments, push button illumination and side focus parallax, and are compatible with Leupold’s Custom Dial System.

The non-illuminated model offers the TMOA reticle, which features tic marks in 1 m.o.a. increments on the vertical and horizontal crosshairs allowing for range estimation and accurate wind drift and bullet drop compensation. Also new are the VX-6 Target Adjustments with resettable zero and an elevation zero stop.

Other features include 34 mm matte-black maintube, generous eye relief, Leupold’s Quantum Optical System combined with Xtended Twilight lens coating for light transmission and clarity, and DiamondCoat 2 exterior lens coating for resistance to scratching and abrasion. The optics are also waterproof, fog proof and shock resistant.
