Owners of Ruger’s popular Mini-14 series of rifles will be pleased to know that it is possible to upgrade the guns’ rear aperture sight assemblies. Tech-SIGHTS’s RR200 unit, which features a knurled, finger-adjustable windage knob and an adjustable elevation knob with a finer aperture than is used on the factory unit, is designed to fit pre-2005 Mini-14 and Mini-30 rifles.

The sight assembly’s parts are spring-loaded to eliminate slop, and they fit into the factory pocket machined into the receiver, meaning no gunsmithing is required. Similar models are available to fit other Mini-14s and a variety of other firearms including the Ruger 10/22, Marlin 60, AK-47 and SKS. Price: $65.
