Walther Firearms unveils the new PPX for 2013. This pistol is a great self-defense or concealed carry option, practical enough for everyday use. The PPX is a hammer-fired semi-auto pistol with a smooth pre-cocked trigger. It comes in 9 mm and .40 S&W in a black or stainless version. The barrel is 4 inches, and comes with adjustable low-profile three-dot polymer combat sights, for rapid aiming and target acquisition. The PPX also comes with a Mil-std-1913 Picatinny accessory mounting rail for any tactical devices, lasers or lights. The Tenifer coated slide and barrel helps to resist corrosion, while the PPX's smooth and constant 6.5 lb trigger pull allows for greater accuracy and control.

The safety features include a loaded chamber viewport to help identify if the gun is loaded, two safeties, and a firing pin block. The PPX is a versatile pistol with its reversible push button thumb-operated magazine release for left- and right-handed shooters. The 9 mm has a magazine capacity of 16 rounds, and the .40 S&W has a 14-round capacity.

MSRP: $449 to $499
