White River Knife & Tool of Coopersville, Mich., is now offering a new handy, all-around fixed blade camp knife called the Camp Clever. Inspired by the knives found in the hands and kit sets of cooks, scouts and hunters in 1800s and early 1900s, when a knife was a major tool, the Camp Cleaver can be used for camp chores, cooking and skinning. It features an easy to manipulate 0.156" thick, 5.5" long blade with an overall length of 10.25". The curve of the blade is suitable for efficient cutting, chopping and reduced motion when slicing.

The stone washed finished full-tang blade is ground from CPM S35VN steel that is sharpened then hand leather stropped razor sharp. The ergonomically designed handle is formed of durable linen based Micarta. Due to this knife's design hand made sheath, it will be produced in reduced numbers from other White River knives. As with all of this company's products, the components and materials, including the sheath and steel, are made in the U.S.A. MSRP: $230
