The CMMG Guard 9 mm pistol carbine offers reduced recoil and muzzle rise thanks to its new patent-pending Radial Delayed Blowback action design. It also features a new patent-pending dual-pinned, fully machined bolt catch linkage, which locks the bolt back after the last round is fired. Field Editor B. Gil Horman tested and evaluated the carbine in both 9 mm and .45 cal. last December, but American Rifleman’s Joe Kurtenbach finally had a chance to fire it during Industry Day at the Range 2018.
