The Colt AR-15 SP1 Sporter Rifle book

While dozens of books have been written about the history and origins of Colt’s iconic SP1 Sporter Rifle, none of them have offered a condensed, photo-rich source for collectors of the classic AR-15. Written by two SP1 collectors for collectors, this dense volume records developmental changes to the Colt SP1 from 1964 to 1984, giving collectors a definitive resource to determine if their rifle has all of its correct contemporary parts.

The book progresses chronologically and features hundreds of images, as well as two quick-reference sections for easy confirmation of major components. Suggested retail is set for $36, plus shipping and handling.
