During the past few years, the heavyweights of the American semi-automatic pistol industry have, in turn, introduced product lines designed to accommodate slide-mounted red-dot optics. Springfield Armory joined the trend earlier this year, unveiling the XD(M) Optical Sight Pistol (OSP). The initial OSP offering is the company’s 4.5”-barrelled XD(M) chambered for 9 mm Luger.
