Franchi Momentum All Terrain Elite

At the 2023 SHOT Show, Franchi USA announced an all-new take on its three-lug bolt-action Momentum rifle. Meet the new Momentum All-Terrain Elite, a gun geared toward easy field carry, thanks to its reduced size and added features that make for a scout-type configuration with modern attributes. The new gun even comes with a 1 m.o.a. guarantee, proving the system’s worthiness on target.

Whether you're a hunter, rancher on patrol or sporting enthusiast, the Momentum All-Terrain Elite builds on a proven Franchi design and makes for a versatile setup, thanks to its culmination of innovative features. Though it does not meet Cooper’s full recommendation for what a scout rifle is, the All-Terrain Elite has enough of the qualifications to perform admirably in that role. Franchi includes a long, cantilevered section of optic rail for forward-mounted, or traditional placement, of the rifle’s glass. A backup sighting system is included, too, which is a boon to a fighting gun, should the riflescope go down in use. A 10-round, detachable-box magazine is also included, though the Picatinny rail bridges the receiver, and the AICS magazine type negates top-loading while in use. But for the practiced marksman, reloads can be completed in seconds.

The Momentum Elite comes equipped with an adaptable stock system with integrated accessory attachment points such as flush-mount QD cups and M-Lok slots. Rubberized panels help with grip, a raised cheekrest gives way to better head position for consistent accuracy and sculpting of the stock allows for a firm foundation whether used on a bench, bag, tree or any other hasty support scenario imaginable. Franchi is also capping the stock with its TSA pad for up to 50 percent recoil mitigation. The stock comes wrapped in TrueTimber’s Strata camouflage.

At launch, the Franchi Momentum All-Terrain Elite will be available in two chamberings, .223 Rem. and .308 Win. Both versions will come with an 18” barrel, threaded 5/8x24 TPI for accessories and features a Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish with a color-matched muzzle brake. The gun’s receiver is also finished to match the gun’s Cerakote-topped barrel. Another handy feature the come comes with is an adjustable trigger pack with a range of 2 to 4 lbs. MSRP of the Momentum All-Terrain Elite is $1,449. For more details, visit FranchiUSA.com.
