Patriot Ordnance Factory Phoenix 9Mm F

New for 2022 from Patriot Ordnance Factory (POF-USA) is the company's Phoenix 9 mm Luger large-format pistol, a unique design years in the making and built for plinking, duty and range use.

“We’re extremely pleased with the final result and couldn’t be happier to bring another one of Frank DeSomma’s visions to the market. He worked tirelessly on this design over the years, and the team couldn’t be more proud to finish it.” says Jeremy Selting, VP of Sales & Marketing.

The POF-USA Phoenix is a blowback-operated design that, externally, looks similar to many popular submachine gun designs from around the world. This semi-automatic-only, pistol-size variant features an upper and lower receiver set complete with bilateral, AR-15-style control. The platform is also copatible with mil-spec AR-15 triggers, pistol grips and selector switches. A bilateral charging handle sits on the forward portion of the receiver, and the gun features integrated sling-mounting points fore and aft.

At the rear of the POF-USA Phoenix is an M1913 Picatinny rail that allows users to install a pistol-stabilizing brace for greater control. The gun feeds from a proprietary 35-round magazine and is outfitted with a 8.5" barrel complete with a 1:10" twist rate and 1/2"-28 TPI threaded muzzle. The overall length of the gun is only 17.5", and the monolithic upper receiver features M-Lok attachment slots for accessories. A full-length Picatinny top rail makes it easy to add optics as well.

The POF-USA Phoenix weighs 4.6 lbs., unloaded, and the gun ships from the factory with a Mission First Tactical pistol grip. Suggested retail pricing on the gun is $1,699. For more information, visit pof-usa.com.
