Based on the company's popular submachine gun, which has seen use with the U.S. Army and Air Force, the semi-auto-only B&T USA APC9 Limited platforms provide a compact, capable pistol-caliber carbine to the U.S. consumer market, albeit only in NFA-regulated short-barreled rifle configurations.

“The heart of the new APC9 Limited guns is our new fully ambidextrous aluminum lower receiver featuring a highly functional flared magazine well similar in size and shape to our popular jet-funnel accessory, yet formed directly into the receiver” said Chris Mudgett, vice president of marketing, B&T USA. “We hit the sweet spot with the 8.9" variant with its longer slick fore-end and MBT stock; this combination makes for an extremely fast-handling, lightweight, ergonomic platform whose fit can be so dialed in, it feels like a natural extension.”

The newly designed MBT stock is a folding, telescoping design, which makes the platform easily collapsible for transport and storage while also providing eight length-of-pull positions and three cheek-height settings for user fit. The ambidextrous controls provide an easily accessible magazine-release button located just forward of the trigger guard, while a safety selector is located above and to the rear of the trigger, akin to those found on AR-style rifles. At the top end of the gun is a folding, non-reciprocating charging handle that's accessible from either side of the receiver.

Users will also find an AR-15-compatible grip, as well as M-Lok attachment slots located at the 3-, 6- and 9-o'clock positions on the fore-end. A tri-lug attachment system is included with the barrel, which is compatible with B&T's RBS9 suppressor line, as well as other suppressors built to use B&T's mounting system. The guns also include a flat-faced Elftmann Tactical trigger. Additionally, the non-serialized lower-receiver group can be swapped out with APC9 PRO lowers that are compatible with Glock, SIG Sauer P320 and B&T magazines.

The B&T USA APC9 Limited is available in 8.9" and 6.9" barrel configurations, and the suggested retail price on both models is $3,100. For more information, visit bt-usa.com.

Why the Murder Rate Quickly Fell to a Likely Historic Low

If the gun-control Left is to be believed, then the murder rate in the U.S. should be going up. After all, gun sales and ownership rates have been rising for the last few decades and anti-gun groups claim that gun ownership is the cause of violent crime. This, of course, is nonsense.
