Roy Rogers and Dale Evans founded the Happy Trails Children's Foundation to help abused children and children at risk. To my knowledge this is the only children's foundation that supports the shooting sports and the 2nd Amendment. For the past 16 years, the foundation has annually offered a unique B-Western gun and holster set as a means of raising much needed funds. I am also pleased to report that 100 percent of the money raised in this annual raffle goes to support the children.

Colt Manufacturing Company donates the guns each year, and the folks at Happy Trails gather a group of the finest American craftsmen to engrave the guns, craft the stocks and build the exquisite gun rigs that are offered. Many of these one-of-a-kind rigs are exact duplicates of those worn by our favorite cowboy movie stars of that by-gone era.

This year’s featured gun is dedicated to Ray “Crash” Corrigan, with exquisite engraving and custom tuning, along with genuine pre-ban elephant ivory grips. The belt and holsters are hand crafted in the style of Crash Corrigan, and feature Sterling silver conchas and buckles.

Visit the Happy Trails Children's Foundation to learn more about its important work with abused children, and to get in on the 2013 raffle for some beautiful Colt sixguns and classic gun rig.
