There’s still time to enter your name for a chance to win $2,500 worth of gear in the the 5.11 Tactical Ultimate Gear Giveaway. There is no cost to enter. You must be at least 18 years old, however, and you have until January 13 to enter your name and contact information on this webpage.

The winner will be notified January 17, the first day of the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT) in Las Vegas, Nev. Complete terms and conditions are available on the entry page, although members of the industry attending the SHOT Show will need to monitor messages that day. The rules of the drawing state, “If a potential winner cannot be contacted within 10 minutes after the first attempt to contact such potential winner, then an alternate winner will be selected at random.” Employees, affiliates or family members of 5.11 Tactical do not quality for entry in the giveaway.

Amazon Prime Video has partnered in the promotion to help publicize the return of its Tom Clancy’s popular “Jack Ryan” series, which features 5.11 Tactical gear prominently. The political action drama first appeared on the streaming service in August 2018. In 2023, it will enter its fourth season, likely the last, according to several sources. To date, there have been 24 episodes, and a spin off is already in the works.

It is based on award-winning American novelist Tom Clancy’s work. He is widely recognized for his knowledge and ability to convey accurate firearm, tactical and technical details throughout all of his fiction. Clancy’s works have been critically acclaimed as some of the best in the spy and thriller genre and have been portrayed in movies that include “Patriot Games,” “Clear and Present Danger,” “The Sum of All Fears” and “The Hunt for Red October.” His writing also inspired the popular video games Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon and others. Clancy died in 2013.
