The National Rifle Association's 2024 Great American Outdoor Show (GAOS), the largest outdoor expo in the world, saw record attendance over its nine-day run, beating the attendance of the 2023 show by thousands. Watch a recap of the show above.

"A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in the recent Great American Outdoor Show," NRA Interim EVP and CEO Andrew Arulanandam wrote to NRA employees. "The final numbers are just in, and thanks to your efforts, this GAOS was the largest ever—eclipsing 2023's attendance of 200,000 plus by thousands."

The crowning moment of the show came as President Donald Trump delivered the keynote speech, addressing not just the tens of thousands of NRA members at the show but the millions of members listening in across the nation. "Thrilled to be back with the hard-working, God-fearing, true American patriots at the NRA," Trump told the crowd. "Your Second Amendment will always be safe with me as your president."

Held every year in Harrisburg, Pa., GAOS has become one of the premier annual events for outdoor enthusiasts ever since the NRA took over management of the show starting in 2014. Like the organization's Annual Meetings & Exhibits, GAOS is an opportunity for members of the firearm and outdoor community to interact directly with the companies that make their favorite products. Many companies have the year's newest guns, gear and other accessories on display. Unlike other industry trade shows, GAOS is open to all members of the public.
