Walther Arms has plenty of experience with manufacturing steel-framed semi-automatics and Olympic-grade competition firearms. So it wasn’t much of a stretch for the company to design and execute the striker-fired Q5 Match SF Pro last year with the features that competitors prefer.

This year, the company has compressed the Q5 into a defensive format configured for concealed carry. Dubbed the Q4 Steel Frame, this new all-steel model features a 4" barrel with an overall length of 7.4".

Unloaded, it tips the scales at 39.7 ozs. The extended Q5 beavertail grip extension has been shaved down to provide a more concealable profile. An optics-ready (OR) variant of the Q4 Steel Frame is also being offered.

Other features include recessed bilateral slide releases, performance grip texturing and the company’s Quick Defense trigger. For more information on this latest offering, visit
