No matter the season, be it turkey, deer, bear or anything in between, it's no fun being cold and wet. When trying one’s hardest to sit still in a stand, ground blind, or next to a tree, few things make wriggling around more tempting than the steady creep of damp cold. Fortunately, Browning's Hell’s Canyon line of BTU-WD (Warm and Dry) hunting clothing is designed with just this hardship in mind.

Working from the bottom up, the BTU-WD Bib ($239.99) features a fully water and windproof shell, with 80 grams of PrimaLoft Hi-Loft Silver insulation to keep out the chill, and hand warmer pockets for when those BTU-WD Gloves ($39.99) need a little assistance. Despite this, the bibs remain decently breathable if the weather warms, thanks to a 2-Layer Pre-Vent shell. Traversing a few streams? The BTU-WD Bib has an elasticized boot gaiter with a boot hook, and fully taped seams for a truly waterproof experience.

Topside, the ensemble is paired with the BTU-WD Parka ($299.99). A 3-in-1 hunting parka, the BTU-WD Parka has a nifty removable insulated jacket, making it a perfect any-season option. While altogether the parka is incredibly warm, without the inner jacket it simply becomes a fully waterproof and breathable outer shell—perfect for spring turkey season! Other features include a fully adjustable attached hood, hand-warmer pockets, a chest pocket, harness access, a license tab and (in the removable jacket) the same 80 grams of insulation as in the bib.

All articles of clothing affixed with the BTU-WD moniker are currently available in Mossy Oak Break-Up Country. For more information, check out browning.com.

Why the Murder Rate Quickly Fell to a Likely Historic Low

If the gun-control Left is to be believed, then the murder rate in the U.S. should be going up. After all, gun sales and ownership rates have been rising for the last few decades and anti-gun groups claim that gun ownership is the cause of violent crime. This, of course, is nonsense.
