Best known for its CNC-inlet fiberglass hunting, competition and sniper rifle stocks, McMillan now offers the U.S.-made, injection-molded MC3 line. Models in the so-called “McCubed” line are priced significantly lower than their machined counterparts, yet retain many of their signature features. An example is the hunting-oriented Tradition Standard BDL. Molded from glass-filled polymer in Olive or Tan. The stock—which features solid construction and molded-in aluminum action screw pillars—is available for both short or long Remington 700 BDL-pattern bolt-actions with magnum-contour barrels. Ergonomics include a straight, ¼”-drop comb and textured surfaces on the fore-end and nearly vertical pistol grip, while a Pachmayr rubber buttpad helps mitigate felt recoil and keeps the stock in the shoulder pocket. Three Uncle Mike’s QD swivel studs allow for independent sling and bipod mounting. The Tradition Standard BDL has an MSRP of $269. For more information, please visit mcmillanusa.com.
