The Beretta APX pistol is a firearm designed to serve and protect, and backed up by more than 400 years of gun-making experience. The APX features a reinforced, glass-filled polymer frame with user selectable grip modules, and feeds from 17-round magazines for its 9 mm Luger chambering. The slide, with aggressive, shark-tooth-like protrusions is black nitride-treated steel to provide a lifetime of service in conditions beyond the expectations of most defensive-pistol practitioners. A 4.25” barrel and three-dot, drift-adjustable battle sights come standard on the APX. Watch this week's NRA Gun of the Week video to hear what else American Rifleman’s Associate Editor Kelly Young has to say about the APX.
