Leupold’s VX-6 line has been updated to include some impressive new features.

Not only does the new VX-6HD comes with Leupold’s Twilight Max Light Management System, a new Guard-iON lens coating and illuminated reticle, but it also includes a new electronic reticle-leveling feature that flashes when the scope is canted by more than a single degree. Once squared up, the reticle stops flashing and a user knows his or her scope is level and ready for an accurate shot placement.

Additionally, a new locking Custom Dial System elevation adjustment—the CDS-ZL2—provides two complete revolutions, allowing hunters and shooters to extend their accuracy even further. The adjustments are calibrated to the specific ballistics of a particular rifle and load. A turn indicator eliminates confusion and ensures the marksman knows precisely where the scope adjustment sits. Leupold is also adding ZeroLock adjustments for the windage dial.

The VX-6HD will be available in magnification ranges of 1-6x24mm, 2-12x42mm, 3-18x44mm, 3-18x50mm and 4-24x52mm, while a 6:1 erector system delivers an outstanding field-of-view at lower settings, while still capable of extreme high-magnification. Depending on reticle, MSRP starts at $1,299.99.
