Daniel Defense is making its first foray into the .308 Win. platform with the new DD5v1. Featuring a four-bolt barrel connection system that does not utilize a barrel nut, an improved bolt carrier group, a configurable charging handle, an oversized trigger guard, a flared magazine well and a 16” cold-hammer-forged barrel, the DD5v1 weighs only 8.3 lbs. The rifle also comes with a Geissele SSA two-stage trigger and ambidextrous safety selectors, magazine releases and bolt catches.
