Known as the "Light Fifty's" baby brother, Barrett's Model 98B looks like an AR-style rifle in nearly every respect, save for its action. Rather than a semi-automatic, Barrett designed the 98B as a precision bolt gun for long-range accuracy. The 98B is essentially a semi-custom rifle available straight from the factory, as caliber (.338 Lapua Mag., .300 Win. Mag., 7 mm Rem. Mag., .308 Win., .260 Rem. and 6.5 Creedmoor), barrel length (16" to 26"), finish (five colors available) and accessories can all be selected by the buyer.
